I’m pleased to share that my work RAINY DAYS IN SAIGON VIII has found a new collector in Berlin. Part of my ongoing Rainy Days series, the work captures the atmosphere of Ho Chi Minh City during moments of rain, where reflections, motion, and diffused light transform the urban environment into a layered visual experience. In this series, I am less interested in documentary precision and more focused on the emotional and sensory qualities of the city. In RAINY DAYS IN SAIGON VIII, blurred figures, illuminated streets, and softened architectural forms merge into an almost cinematic composition. The rain acts as a visual filter, dissolving sharp edges and creating a sense of transition and impermanence. Through movement and abstraction, the image reflects the energy and rhythm of contemporary urban life while maintaining a quiet and contemplative mood. I’m grateful to see RAINY DAYS IN SAIGON VIII become part of a new private collection and continue its journey beyond the studio.
