I’m pleased to share that SINGAPORE BLUR VII has found a new collector in Paris. Part of my ongoing HUMAN BLUR series, SINGAPORE BLUR VII explores the fleeting presence of people moving through the contemporary urban environment. Through intentional motion blur, colour and layered visual impressions, the photograph transforms everyday movement into an atmospheric composition in which human figures become silhouettes, traces and fragments of the surrounding city.

My HUMAN BLUR project, which began in 2002, investigates anonymity, transience and the relationship between individual identity and collective urban life. Rather than documenting a specific moment in a purely literal way, these images explore how movement and perception shape our experience of public space. The resulting works occupy a space between photography and abstraction, inviting viewers to discover their own interpretations within the blurred forms.
